Shawnee Benton-Gibson, LMSW, FDLC, is the Founder & Executive Director of The Griots' Healing Circle, a boutique consulting business offering innovative coaching, counseling and innovative healing and training experiences to individuals, groups and organizations seeking to expand their power, purpose and impact in the world.  Shawnee is a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience as a clinician and change agent. Her powerful book on healing and transformation:   "Walk In The Light With Me", is an autobiographical piece that chronicles her journey toward overcoming the shadows of life to become an IN-Lightened master teacher, healer, vision coach, performance artist, inspirational speaker, mother and friend.  Her principle teaching and healing tools consist of spiritual counseling, coaching, writing,  psychodrama, energy work, the performing arts and storytelling as mediums to ignite transformation and initiate catharsis. In addition to her extensive experience as a clinician, Shawnee is an actor, director, playwright, vocalist and composer who has incorporated the healing arts in every aspect of her life. Some of her credits include: “The Red Thread Movement”, “Mother Wit: Echoes From The Womb”, “The Mother Wit Conference”, “The Rooftop Visionary Group” and the “Be The Tree Rites of Passage Collective for Women” Shawnee is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Spirit of A Woman (S.O.W.) Rites of Passage & Leadership Development Institute, in partnership with Monica C. Dennis. According to Shawnee, healing work is "a labor of love and liberation".

Financial Intimacy: What Does God Say?

Jacquette M. Timmons is a financial behaviorist. Coaching, teaching, speaking, and writing are a few of the ways she does her work, which has been featured in a variety of media outlets including CNN, HLN, FOX, Black Enterprise, NPR, and the Wall Street Journal, to name a few. Using strategies that appeal to both left- and right-brained thinkers, she combines her MBA in finance with her fascination in human behavior to help people achieve their financial and life goals - integrating the psychology and emotions of money with the numbers. She's the founder of Sterling Investment Management, Inc. and the author of, "Financial Intimacy: How to Create a Healthy Relationship with Your Money and Your Mate."

Jauquette Greene is a phenomenally talented choreographer, teacher and collaborator and because of that she is well respected in the dance community.  Originally from Brooklyn, NY Ms. Greene studied on scholarship at Jubilation! & Creative Outlet Dance Company. She continued her studies in New York with Obediah Wright, Kevin Jeff and Madam Darvarsh among others. She was a Principal dancer in the movie “Malcolm X” and Choreographer at St. Paul Baptist Church Performing Arts Ministry and a Teaching Artist in many community based organizations, public and private schools as well as a featured artist in a host of videos and freelance projects. Jauquette made her acting debut in “The MLK story told by Coretta Scott King” (as Coretta) production, “Shakin The Mess Outta Misery” and later “Mother’s Wit”, she would like to thank her many teachers and elders of the community for their vision, direction and expertise on talent, love, life and paying it forward. She would also like to give a special thanks to her late mom Terri Greene (her number 1 cheerleader) children Jaukia & Jaheim, Pastor Youngblood, family and friends for their support & love, and God for sharing the gift of POSITIVE EXPRESSION.
